AASP is an international organization for individuals interested in the profession of advancement services. AASP provides education, professional development, and networking opportunities to its members and promotes the professional status of advancement services in the philanthropic community.

Membership in AASP is open to individuals who seek to foster a positive association within the philanthropic community, whose terms of affiliation are not contrary to the goals of AASP, and who uphold the responsibilities and integrity of the association without conflict of interest.
