Live Webinar Date & Time: Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 2:00 - 3:15pm EST

This session will include a discussion of the latest tax bill, including the impact of the increase in the standard deduction and the revocation of the athletic 80/20 rule.  We will then look at such topics as quid pro quo, gift dates, donor-advised funds (including an obscure IRS Notice issued in December 2017), and private (family) foundations.  There will be discussions on donor control, scholarships, common gift myths, auctions, sponsorships, and special events.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about any nuances pertaining to 2018 and 2019 including new benefit limits
  • Review long-standing regulations that often are neglected (by everyone BUT the IRS)
  • Review special circumstance rules including DAFs, private foundations, and QPQ
